In the summer Dorset is a major hotspot for people travelling from all over the country, flocking south to enjoy the beautiful Jurassic Coast, countryside and local attractions. As the official brew of the county, it is an opportune time of year for Dorset Tea to share the joy of their award winning Sunshine blend and increase top of mind brand awareness as the population swells.
With the brand proposition ‘There’s no better time for a cup of sunshine’ our approach was to build on our winter campaign and showcase a selection of quintessentially, sunny Dorset moments when a lovely cup of tea is the perfect partner to the occasion. From lazy beach hut days, to a refreshing flask on a coastal hike, to camping with the family in the countryside, we recruited Dorset locals to star in our campaign and bring to life the brand’s authenticity and feel good personality.
The campaign was shot across 3 locations and rolled out across a regional outdoor campaign reaching people on the streets of Dorset and paid social and digital display advertising using location and interest based targeted to drive relevance.
The campaign has been a huge success reaching over 4 million across the campaign period, driving 5,000 website visits and most importantly, bringing the feel good vibes of a cup of sunshine to Dorset loving locals and visitors across the Summer season.
